"The Voice's" extra episode may have trounced the first hour of "The X Factor's" Season 2 premiere in Wednesday night's reality ratings war, but Simon Cowell and his new sidekick Britney Spears are still hitting the promotional circuit hard in hopes of building buzz for their show. And among these entertaining efforts was their post-premiere appearance on Wednesday's "Jimmy Kimmel" episode, during which Simon and Britney showed off their surprisingly strong chemistry. However, if Simon really wants to help "The X Factor's" cause, he may not want to alienate potential viewers by showing off his...thick thatch of chest hair. Come on, no one wants to see that.
"Simon, we can see your navel. Why even have buttons on your shirt, if this is how you're going to wear it?" an amused/repulsed Jimmy asked Simon on behalf of all of America--when Simon strutted onstage practically flashing more skin than Britney usually does, with his shirt flapping open to the waist. "Please button that shirt, it's disgusting! I feel like an ape is about to jump out and strangle me!"
Britney didn't seem to appreciate Cowell's hairy-chested look either, since when Jimmy asked Simon if there was any "sexual attraction" between this odd couple, Britney just averted her eyes nervously while Simon fiddled with his one fastened button and answered, "It's a bit one-sided, Jimmy. Myside." Oh well. Maybe Britney could at least provide Simon with a referral to a good waxer.
Fear not: When Simon made multiple changes to "The X Factor's" format this year, swapping too-tight black T-shirts for barely-buttoned button-downs was really one of the more minor tweaks. Despite Wednesday's aforementioned ratings setback, the early buzz regarding "The X Factor's" new (and improved) season has been largely positive, with many fans and critics saying the series has totally stepped it up since last year, and some even saying it's now better than "The Voice." Hopefully for Simon, that burgeoning buzz, coupled with fun promotional appearances like these, will boost the show in the long run.  But keeping his long chest hair under wraps certainly wouldn't hurt.

Don Jazzy – I Will Slap Wizkid .......

Don Jazzy
Just days ago, news went viral about controversial rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem claiming to be the reason artistes like D’Banj, P-Square and others were getting paid today.
This statement has highly been reacted to by many, who have had mixed feelings and reactions to it, believed it was uncalled for by the Kennis Music artiste to have said such. Some felt it was just a publicity stunt by Eedris to remain relevant in the news.
Reacting to Eedris’ statement was Don Jazzy. The Mavin Records boss tweeted, “But I won’t put it exactly like that. I think what he (Eedris) meant was [that] guys like him, our father 2baba, Tetuila, Eldee etc inspired us to join the game (music industry).
“So, if they didn’t inspire us to join the game, we won’t be getting paid. True, baba (Eedris) tuale.
I used to mime ‘Shako Mo’, ‘Belinda’ and ‘Omode Meta Sere’ [while] in secondary school. So, baba (Eedris) has the right to yarn (talk) anything o.”
However, Don baba J, as the multiple award-winning music producer is fondly called did a joke on Wizkid when jokingly tweeted afterwards on being respected by Wizkid as he has done to 2Face, Eedris and others.
He tweeted, “that been said, ‘oya’, Wizkid, anyday you don’t ‘tuale for me’, when I see you ‘ehnnnnn’, I go ‘wozzzzzzz (slap)’ you 22 slaps. lol.”
So, a message for Wizkid, the next time you see Don Jazzy, quickly ‘tuale’ him before you get 22 slaps from Don Jazzy’s flat, broad and soft palms.

Sacha Baron Cohen is at it again. The British comedian is infamous for taking his uninhibited alter egos off of the big screen and letting them run loose in public. His latest stunt just happened at the opening of the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival. Cohen arrived via yacht in character as Admiral General Aladeen from his new movie "The Dictator” -- which opens today -- with supermodel (and former George Clooney flame) Elisabetta Canalis in tow. Things started off chummy between the two, with him rubbing suntan lotion on her, but then it took a turn. Click ahead to see what happened at Cannes and some of Cohen's other wild publicity stunts.

This must be a happy and good time for Michael Collins Elebuwa, who is well known as Don Jazzy, as he has slapped with a juicy deal.
According to source, the celebrated music producer signed a double digit million naira worth deal with Samsung for its home theatre system.
We learnt that he helped in designing the bass system of Samsung’s Afro POP Home Theatre system.
He is presently in Cape Town, South Africa.
We scooped that Don Jazzy is also in South Africa with Wande Coal working on a music video.
Don Jazzy and D’Banj called it quit with each other after about nine years together as Mohits label co-owners.
His recent tweet was “Last day in Cape town, its been fun but i can’t wait to get back home. Miss my wife (Studio)”
you can’t pressure an African man into marriage because if it’s that easy to pressure a man, all these ladies that are claiming to be single won’t be single.
A man that doesn’t want to settle down cannot be forced, and I’m sorry to say, a baby does not keep a man, you cannot force a man to do what he doesn’t want to do.
Let me tell you something, I read a lot of different things, everything, and honestly I just refuse to believe hearsay's no more. It’s just none of my business.
If he has kids out there and he feels he needs to give me that information, he will in his own time.
I don’t think we were having issues per say. Our situation is very hard to talk about.
I believe everything happens for a reason
I love myself and I love my son.
I’m a simple person, I don’t hold grudges, so you cannot expect me to beef somebody I have a child for. It’s not possible. He’s part of my son (Zion).
I can’t hate him, because if I hate him, I hate my child.

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God is the most respected Pentecostal pastor in Nigeria. This former teacher and lecturer in mathematics from the University of Lagos was among the first set of academia in Nigeria to become disciples of the then ‘church ratist’ Pentecostalism. Then from the early seventies to the early nineties to be a Pentecostal is akin to being an outcast.
Families prefer a drunkard in their fold than a Pentecostal.  Pentecostalism was associated with non-violent but radical trait of Christianity where the congregation is not interested in the things of the world, fashion of the world, music of the world etc.
During my own time, my father had to drive me out of the house in 1986 because, according to him, I failed to genuflect before the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
I had to live from church hall to queer places until my elder brother came around from his postings and normalized the situation temporarily. My school fees and pocket money was withheld and I was treated with contempt as a religious rebel. Such was the fate of Pentecostals till Pastor Anwuzia of Zoe Ministries made Pentecostalism fashionable.
Pastor Adeboye was among the people who gradually led the migration from extremist Pentecostalism to moderatism. This was coupled with various testimonies of creative miracles like healing of blindness, lameness and other incurable health condition under the power of God which used to be hallmarks of his conventions then.
The emergence of Archbishop Benson Idahosa, Pastor Joe Anwuzia and Prophet Gabriel Oduyemi birthed the introduction of prosperity into the Pentecostal fold. Pastor Adeboye believes in prosperity, preaches prosperity, healing, salvation and spiritual maturity.
He runs a loose administrative structure which gives his pastors the freedom to exhibit their peculiar spiritual gifts of prophecy, healings, teachings, worship or a combination if the person has the grace.
The Redeemed pastors are not perpetually in fear of frequent transfers like their Living Faith counterparts. In terms of pastoral allowances, Redeemed pastors receive more pay than other structured Pentecostal churches perhaps except Living Faith Church.
During our time, pastors are sent to a field with a horn speaker, mat, stove, huge Bible and Matthew Henry’s Commentary and a member to house the new work in his apartment.
The pastor were to use his ‘God of Elijah’ anointing to bring down the rest of the chairs, instruments, place of worship, members etc or you die of hunger and starvation.
The Redeemed Church will have none of it. They equip every branch with minimum requirements including migrated membership to enable the new branch start up with less friction.
In terms of sermon delivery, the Redeemed style is simple and devoid of logical sequence and revelational wordcraft  associated with Living Faith Church. Bible students are not excited about their message pattern , they view it as too simplistic .
Messages in Redeemed Church is delivered with high level of simplicity, devoid of intellectual flair that one begins to wonder what a professor is doing in that environment.
However, the cohesive family like relationship in their fold beats that of any Pentecostal fold in Nigeria and have held the church together like a rock.
In terms of organization, the church is second only to Living Faith. In terms of worship, it towers above other Pentecostal church. In terms of hierarchical structure, it has the most disciplined hierarchical order.
A district pastor with 100 members in his parish takes precedence over a parish pastor with 5000 Congregationalists such that  the parish pastor must surrender pulpit at the presence of the district or any other senior pastor. This is just to ensure discipline and order. They have low turnover of pastors as you will see those who started with Pastor Adeboye still in the fold.
The daily devotional ‘Open Heavens” is the most incisive daily devotional in circulation. It showcases the teaching ministry of Pastor Adeboye .The Redeemed Camp has a sitting capacity of over four million members and during conventions and Holy Ghost Congress the visitors could reach six million. P
astor Adeboye possesses unusual grace. During Holy Ghost services people run to the altar arena in response to alter call, before Pastor Adeboye finishes counting one to ten, yet one cannot pinpoint the highpoint of the message that drew such crowd of sinners out for repentance.
Pastor Adeboye have influenced pastors all over the world , the Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church, David Oyedepo refers to him as his ‘father in the lord’, same goes for many other pastors. Newsweek Magazine in 2008 named him among 50 most influential persons worldwide. Pastor Adeboye have built a solid institution of religion, having all administrative and managerial effectiveness in place including the Redeemers University.
With a membership of over eight million it is time for the Redeemed Christian Church of God to move to the next level.
The followers of Pastor Adeboye should come out of hiding and praying and lead in the transformation process of Nigeria.
Enough of collecting anointing from Pastor Adeboye. Redeemed members have collected enough. It is time to utilize those collected over the years in the quest for a new Nigeria.
The membership of RCCG can only do their leader and the nation good if they elect to find their ways into politics, civil society groups, human rights and other change movements in Nigeria so that they can help in the rescue of this nation out of imbecile political leadership.
There is enough power of God angling around the ministry that ubiquitous faithful prefer to collect it, store it, hoard it until it becomes stale and they rush to Redeemed camp to collect another one.
This cycle is a disservice to the nation. With a membership above eight million, the Redeemed members should rise up from slumber and use the spiritual resources at their disposal to checkmate evil in the armed forces, economy, politics , business and other sectors of the ailing nation.
This is the greatest service they can do for God, Christendom and the best 70th birthday gift they can give to Pastor Adeboye who turned 70 on the 3rd of march.
